Fix

Error when creating data via an Xpertdoc Portal Smart Forms data set

When creating data associated with an Xpertdoc Smart Form data set, flow executions would fail throwing an error of type "Could not find root element". The issue has been fixed and now Smart Form data sets do not cause flow executions to fail anymore. Note: We would like to recommend customers using the Xpertdoc Portal connector considering Experlogix Documents form data sets instead.

Improvement

Self-serviceability for Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC Connectors

Setting up the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central connector required pre-configuration of a Cloud Connect account, organization and integration by Experlogix..

The connector configuration setup has been simplified and made fully self-serviceable for administrators to configure independently.

Improvement

Controlled flow deletion with active executions

When deleting a flow from the Project Console, administrators are now prompted to either keep or cancel ongoing executions, provided flow execution snapshots are enabled. This gives explicit control over running executions and prevents unintended disruption when removing flows.

Improvement

MCP

Experlogix Smart Flows now includes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, available in Preview for Microsoft Copilot Studio. This integration allows Copilot agents to discover Smart Flows, understand required inputs, trigger executions, and retrieve generated documents. It creates a seamless connection between conversational AI and governed document automation, enabling users to run structured processes through natural language interactions. All executions initiated through the MCP server follow existing Smart Flows security, permissions, and auditing frameworks. Together, these capabilities unlock new scenarios for agent‑driven document generation and workflow automation within Microsoft Copilot Studio.
