We continuously work to improve, optimize and extend the product's feature set, user experience, architectural design, and security benchmarks. These efforts result in regular software releases with two types of releases: minor releases and patch releases.

Release Timing
Minor Releases:
New features and feature deprecations are usually introduced with minor releases. The target is to have a minor release every quarter. Minor releases are numbered according to the following pattern:
'Major Version Number'.'Minor Release Number' (Example: 4.7).
Patch Releases:
Fixes and improvements on existing product features are regularly made available as patch releases. Patch versions are released on an ad hoc basis in between minor releases. Patch releases are numbered according to the following pattern:
'Major Version Number'.'Minor Release Number'.'Patch Release Number' (Example: 4.7.2).
Support for Releases
The support that Experlogix offers depends on the version number in use by your company.

If you are using our most recent release, you receive full product support.

If you are using a previous version, we recommend updating to the most recent release to ensure that we have not already resolved the issue. We never release patches for previous versions; fixes are always on the most recent version.
Access to Software Updates
The following customer types receive software updates according to their subscription or maintenance plan terms.

We announce new releases on via the Knowledge base, My Xpertdoc.com, and via e-mail notifications.
Updating your software version
Updating your company's software version depends on the deployment method(s) your team uses.
Public Cloud or Fully Managed Service
If you use ExperlogixSmart Flows SaaS fully managed by Experlogix, your tenant(s) automatically receive minor and patch release updates. We notify each tenant's primary point of contact by e-mail at least one week in advance for minor releases.
We notify Managed Service customers on a dedicated infrastructure of the availability of a new release and invite them to approve a suggested update window.
Private Cloud or On-Prem Smart Flows Deployment
If you manage your Experlogix infrastructure, either in private cloud mode or on your own premises, you can upgrade your environment(s) to a new version at any time. Installation packages and instructions are available to all customers with a valid maintenance and/or subscription plan through their My Xpertdoc account.
