Known Issues: JSON Schema Compatibility

1. JSON Data set Rollback to Older Versions (Draft 4)

Issue

If a dataset is rolled back to a version using JSON Schema Draft 4, it will continue to load with errors.

Resolution (Manual Update Required)

• Update the schema version directly in the dataset:

• Open the JSON dataset in the application

• Go to Build tab

• Locate the schema definition (first line)

• Replace: draft-04 → draft-06 or draft-07

• Save the dataset

Validation Steps

• Go to Schema → confirm it loads without errors

• Open Data Tree → ensure it builds successfully.

2. Export Packages Created Before Draft 6 Migration

Issue

Older export packages including JSON data sets still reference Draft 4, causing failures when imported into environments using Draft 6.

Workaround (External File Update Required)

• Extract or open the export package

• Locate the dataset file (JSON format)

• Open it in a text editor (e.g. Notepad++)

• Replace: draft-04 → draft-06 or draft-07

• Save the file

• Re-import the updated package into the system.
